Of course barney now says it was the republicans that did it.

PS During those years (above) I was attending some Black Churches in this area that were telling parishoners to go out and borrow all the money they could because this was how God was going to make them Rich. Interesting that the "God" in this case was actually the Federal Government. I tried to talk to some of the church members about how financially dangerous this was and they had been somehow convinced that they would never have to pay the loans back. (Most of the ones I knew didn't pay them back but lost their homes). It seems hypocritical to me that as these same people are enslaving and stealing from the poor they are ranting and blaming the rich as they themselves get richer. Nothing less than evil in my eyes.

I see nothing wrong with helping people recall stuff, especially after they reach a certain age. Please don't thank me sot.

I would like to address this statement by Sooner. He couldn't be more mistaken. Perhaps Sooner isn't as interested in posting on this forum since Saltwater no longer posts here. t is true some inflammatory posters drew a lot more attention than they deserved.

Just got recent stats for enidnews.com and Hey Martha, and both are quite healthy. In fact, more readers are spending more time on enidnews.com web site than ever before, and Hey Martha is one of those reasons.

There are some, like our topic starter here, who just want to throw some kind of flame out there like, "which one of you missing a cross?" Perhaps this post was largely ignored because 1. People know the topic starter's agenda. 2. People populating this forum at the present time aren't going to fall for this kind of inflammatory pretense. In fact, many of this topic starter's posts are ignored.

People come here and view the topics, even though they may not always respond. This topic itself has garnered nearly 400 views.

This forum continues to be a place for good healthy debate. And, we are the predominant web site that provides opportunity for reader interaction through the forum and through reader comments.
I'm totally disagreeing with your statement that Rupe wants to throw out flame. If you read his posts you see that he responds to buckets of flame from Gore and others with humor and good fun. I comprehended his title to be referring to someone in the area who doesn't post here, and he had the good grace to change the title when Sooner discussed it with him.

I agree with Sooner, the forum was dead all summer long, I looked in on it regularly and there were very few posts. I stayed out for over 2 months, and if I'm one of the inflammatory posters yer talking about, then tell the others to igg me. But my threads are the ones everyone gets in and mixes it up.

Inflammatory poster of the month goes to jbnnw for starting a thread trying to legitimize the NAAWP and how black-on-black racism is copacetic. Didn't see you say anything to him like what you said to Rupe and for goodness sake, Rupe is on the side of the angels.

Rupe says "Cross burning bad" ENEditor says "naughty inflammatory poster."

jbnnw says "NAAWP good" and ENEditor tells me to stick it where the sun don't shine when I object to that propaganda being on the forums.

we don't have to go to creek county....if you want some racism and a double shot of homophobia, take a stroll out to a certain watering hole by the fairgrounds. you will be sure to raise some howls with a person of color but that's OK......."they make a good steak"
