Hello all,

I am a good friend of forum member "napforsure". I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he passed away last Tuesday, December 28. His name was Larry, and he was a beloved father and husband. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.

He had told me what a great time he had on these message boards and he told me his profile name. As I'm a forum member of many message boards, I knew that this community would want to know of their friend's passing. You become a tight knit group of friends with fellow forum members. I know that Larry loved coming on here and talking about issues around Enid, local sports and other fun topics, and I'm sure he gained many friends along the way. So I thought you should all know.

Please feel free to use this thread to express your love to your good friend and well wishes and sympathies to his family, and I will make sure that they get your messages.

Thank you and bless you.

I am saddened to hear that my friend Napforsure (Larry ) has passed on, I always looked forward to reading comments by Nap and engaging in the jovial banter that we all achieve here .

I wish to offer my condolences to his wife , family and friends and to all that all knew him .

His presence on the forum just happened to make life a little more tolerable , and would bring a smile to my face often !

Rest in Peace my Friend

Very sad news for Enid forum users. "Nap" as we called him had some interesting observations to make on our forum. The forum is kind of its own little family, and we grieve for the loss of our family member.

Thank you for passing this news on. I am lifting up prayers for his family and friends.

This is terrible news. Larry would stop by the library to visit and, of course, check on Oreo. They were great buds. Larry had just brought a present for his little friend not long before his passing.

I am very sad. He was a good friend, both here and in the Real, and we spent much time discussing topics and personalities from the forum. He really enjoyed this. I will miss him a great deal.

I am glad that his passing was peaceful and untroubled, and my heart goes out to his special lady for whom he always had only the most loving words. We have all lost a treasure.

I'm very sorry to hear of nap's passing. He and I didn't agree on much of anything, and I'm sure he thought I was a total nutcase, but that was his right, and I'll miss his posts just the same.

I wish him peace in eternity, and peace and comfort for his family at this sad time, and in the years ahead.
