| The Apostle James taught that we should “pray one for another, that ye may be healed,” adding, “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). The book of James teaches the role of anointing in connection with the other elements in a healing blessing by priesthood authority: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up” (James 5:14–15). www.lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?hideNav=1... |

| Tru,
I'm not big in the prayer department, but I do hope that your son overcomes his difficulties.
FWIW - Our daughter just let us know that she doesn't plan to return to graduate school this fall, and is going to hang out in Prague with some of her friends instead. I told her that I hope hanging out pays well because I won't be subsidizing it. Kids... pain... @ss. |

Just had to laugh as it struck a nerve. Our daughter finally graduated from college after 7 years...I think of the money and almost cry! |

| Fred your daughter has great taste in cities. In all my travels, Prague rates in the top five. One of the best preserved historical cites in all of Europe. I believe it was the St. Charles bridge that had all the well cared for religious statues on it. Such a beautiful spot to observe everything on God's green earth. And i mean everything!!!! I loved Prague so much that i brought back two rectangular chunks of street material and use them for paper weights. The light colored stone i think was quartz and the other was dark colored. They are being stored right now or i would check. I was there the year after 9/11 and some of the stores had fliers on professional gas masks that were for sale. I remember them being from Israel and the cost evades me right now. The beer was cold and the food was good but most of all the girls were very beautiful. |

| Rupert,
I haven't had the opportunity to visit Prague, but have heard that it is beautiful. My daughter has not been there either, though she has traveled in Europe. I think that she likes the idea of Prague, and believes it to be some eutopia free from the pressures of school. Sadly, as beautiful as it is, Prague probably still has its share of pressures.
She does have several friends there, so she may find it very enjoyable. However, she is going to have to be self supporting. Scrooge that I am, I will not be funding her outdoor cafe lunches. She thinks that money falls from the sky. I won't be pretty when reality intrudes. |

Thanks.
Tru, its not on the mountain tops we grow, but in the valley's. God knows what is needed and I pray that comfort is found. |

Tru, just remember, God will answer your prayers and needs, and also, God is never late and is always on time. quote: (NASB) Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. (NASB)

God designed it that way so that we learn to trust Him. One very important need has already been met. quote: Psalm 22:3-5 But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed.
