When Jesus gave us His sermon of the Signs that would be evident before His return, He spoke of some of them in Luke 21:25. He spoke of men's hearts failing them from the fear of seeing what was coming on the earth, in the very next verse. So, the things will not be hidden when they happen, everyone will see them. What is happening now? Apart from the Telegraph article on the approaching "solar storm" for today, the only other thing I could find on it is this: http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/alert...rnings_timeline.html They posted a warning for today, but it must not be a big deal, or they are keeping it under wraps. Hopefully the sky will be clear for tonight's lunar eclipse. Also, we had three more earthquakes here in OK in the last few days. A 3.6 N.E. of OKC, smaller ones around Jones and Allen. | |||

CW, Let's say that the solar storm wreaks havoc around the globe today. There will still be nothing linking it to divine cause. Earthquakes occur continually around the world. All manner of natural disasters maim and kill. In fact, I heard that 2010 was the worst year for deaths caused by natural disasters on record. Why must any of the devastation say anything about the intentions of God? We are beyond the need for myth and superstition as cause. We've learned much of how the world works beyond Zeus throwing lightning bolts from Mt. Olympus. Faith must be very weak if it needs global flood, famine and earthquake to strengthen it. The human race will die by microbe, not by cataclysm. | |||

The Lunar Eclipse is awesome! Such a lovely sight! An awe-inspiring sight in the moon. At the time the "sun is awakening" according to scientists. Global economic stress on the earth. Israel is back as a nation again, after being "dead" for nearly 2000 years. All we need is a "peace agreement" settlement with Israel, with a charismatic world leader involved, to start the ball really rolling. Maybe by the end of 2012 we'll have that. I considered that, MC, but it would be so much easier and more efficient if everyone simply shared my opinions. You see, if my opinions weren't correct I wouldn't hold them.
