Not sure I ever recovered from Arizona beating the Yankees in 2001. I think the cruelest blow of all was struck against Mariano Rivera. I never expected him to lose a game, but he did in this series. I really think most of our country's problems can be traced back to this disaster...time has not healed my wounds.

After that game i got to use the phrase, The Yanks haven't won a World Series in the 21th Century yet. That has now changed and i will never feel bad about the D-backs glorious seventh game win.

It was an exciting series... especially with 9/11 on everyone's mind. For me, if the Yankees don't win, I really feel the country is headed in the wrong direction. After all, is not Yankee Stadium the center of the universe LOL!

Once drove the roadway overlooking the old Yankee Stadium one early drizzling Sunday. Passed a police car that was teetering atop the guard rails. All four wheels were off the ground. I am glad i missed that chase.

Makes you want to take the bus!
