I am a National league fan. You know everybody that plays,,,bats. If my pitcher throws at your batter.....your pitcher can return the favor. There is no hiding in the National League.( Yes i had Roger the dodger in mind.)
With that being said, i want a full seven game series.
Spent enough time around Giants and 49er fans to know that many can be overboard rude and crude. Nobody takes losing well, except maybe the Yankee fans because they know they will have another great chance of winning it all next year. This is also from experience. After the Diamondbacks knocked Mario Riveria off the mount in game seven of the 2001 World Series, i was in the bowels of the stadium and there were some Yankee fans there too. And they couldn't of been nicer. So lets get this to a deciding game seven by playing hard-nosed baseball....batter up!

I attended a Royals/Yankees game in KC many years ago. About ten rows in front of us, there was a group of Yankee fans that had very clearly traveled from NY to the game. They had these very large flags they kept holding up that was obscuring the views of everyone behind them. They were loud, obnoxious, and probably led the stadium in beer purchases. Seriously. The beer guy would sell them beer and come right back with more. Until that moment, I never really had an opinion about the Yankees (my deep seeded hatred came later). But it sure molded my opinion of their fans.
I see that some of their fans know how to treat ladies too. I guess the hurled obscenities towards Cliff Lee's wife and actually spat in her direction. Way to stay classy New York.
But sorry to digress from the World Series theme.

We had stadium guards at our World Series games because the players wives were seated close by. They were well cared for in every way. I used to walk by after the game to see if any diamonds came out of there settings.
I have photos of the wives before and after the 9th inning comeback.....priceless.

No to the Dbacks question. As with anything in life if you get off the couch and put yourself in a position to succeed many time it works.
I will just say that i have done certain things in that stadium before any others have; and all or most are legal.
During the regular season i would look over time to time at the well-cared for players wives, and when their husband's team was losing bad they would order many more Tequila drinks from the alcohol hawkers. You could just feel their anxiety rising.

Yeah, its like the Rangers lost all of their momentum and energy. Maybe going home will help that. I'm hoping the Rangers can pull it out, but if the Giants win, hats off to them. Its been quite awhile since they won and it would be great to shove a World Series ring in Barry Bonds' face and make him jealous.

I wish Willie Mays' health were better. It would have been a treat to see him throw the first pitch. Distressing to realize that time can even slow Willie Mays, but at least I'm in very good company.

Yeah, that's bad news. I remember when the wheeled Ted Williams out in a golf cart on his death bed for an All-Star game or something. Maybe it was the All-Century Team. It was just really sad.
I hope to be rich enough some day to be able to purchase the frozen head of Ted Williams at auction. I'm a bit of a memorabilia collector.

I'm glad to see anyone besides the Yankees in the World Series. I'm a Cardinal's fan but hoping the Ranger's and Nolan Ryan can win it. Nolan wasn't around alot of winning in his playing days. I use to follow the Ranger's when Juan Gonzolas was hitting those screaming line drives over left field wall. Rooting for Josh Hamilton, what a story with all his addiction's and overcoming them. He still tries to cover those stupid tattoos with the wrist bands. Saw my first pro game in Arlington when Ted Williams was the skipper.
Those screaming line drives were powered by steroids though. And that really hacks me off because I loved the team of Pudge, Raffy, and Juan Gone. I liked Will Clark too and I know he was clean.
Speaking of Will Clark....he had one of the best swings I've ever seen.
Best Sings I've ever seen (in no particular order):
Will Clark George Brett John Olerud

So, Nap and Rupe (and anyone eles who wants to chime in)....best swings you ever saw. I did guys that I actually saw hit. The one I left off was Griffey Jr's homerun swing.
