Would he gladly send his erratic quarterback, Landry Jones, to OSU in exchange for their more poised quaterback, Brandon Weeden? Somehow Mr. Jones doesn't seem the perfect fit for OU...he appears all to capable of a meltdown in a very big game. Wonder if has the confidence of his team mates? Suspect OSU is more than pleased by their quarterback's performance. No trade is expected.

Has anyone noticed that the college games this year don't seem to feature any defense? The scores sound more like basketball than football. The pros are getting right in there, however.

Landry is too inconsistent for my tastes. He has not progressed in the same fashion as other Oklahoma quarterbacks in the past. He has over a year now as the starter and he is still prone to mistakes that he shouldn't be making. Yet, other times, he can look like a world beater. I suspect that those cases are due largely to his team mates as much as him.
And yes, defense is rare. But mark my words. Oklahoma will win at least one game this year because of the defense bailing out a sputtering offense.
