Well, here is an oldie but a goodie, can yall guess who said this? play fair and don't do a search, just guess....

quote:
Oooooo...I expect it will take at least two terms to even make a dent in the horrible damage that Bush and those evil republicans did.
Even then if there are still no Jobs, we still plenty of Van Jones and Jeremiah Wrights and Tim Geitners to get advice from, surely a Columbia and Harvard educated, nobel laureate, messiah could fix it very fast considering the wisdom and experience he brings to the office. You would think that because bush and the republicans are stupid, it would be easy to outsmart all the evil things they did to our country.

According to my recollection, he said he already knew how to fix everything before the election and that got him elected. What happened? I guess there was just no way to really know how bad bush was.

Well I bet 8 years from now we will still be finding things that bush screwed up and Columbia and Harvard educated, nobel prize winning superhero still don't have a clue how to fix.

I just don't get it, he said he knew how to fix the economy said he would get out of Iraq and they would be a nation of love and peace immediately (well?) said Afghanistan would be where he would stop terrorism in it's tracks , said he knew how to make health care available to everyone (free to most)and not raise taxes one thin dime on anyone making less than $250,000 annually, (LOL), was going to stop unemployment in it's tracks at less than 8% (oops)and was miraculously save the planet from global warming by burning coal (trying not to laugh) all the while working with Republicans as brothers and sisters in a congress built on love instead of politics.

Unemployment got worse, Iraq and Gitmo still the same, Afghanistan suddenly we are losing the war, Taxes are already being planted in bills that will get all poor people (tax on health care, tax on sugar, tax on cigarettes and maybe even a "use" tax that will cover everything you have. Bipartisanship suddenly and mysteriously became a gigantic right wing conspiracy to make him fail, less people have health care now than a year ago (millions more unemployed), Insurance companies are raising rates and copays in fear of the government intrusion into the industry and the only ones that seem to be doing well are the rich guys that caused the Economic collapse anyway.

But hey, at least we are emitting less carbon because factories are shutting down and no one can afford to drive anywhere.
Recent studies indicate that he may have used his superpowers to save the planer because the planet seems to be getting colder instead of hotter (even with out cap and trade but we still need to tax more right?).

Maybe the "Community Organizer" just needs a few years to get "organized" then we'll see all the "brilliant" and wise wisdom and experience kick in. Yeah, that's it just keep voting him back in and eventually the economy will recover , something is bound to change in Iraq and Afghanistan, the "Health insurance Crisis" will surely get better if he can get control of it too (like Afghanistan?).
I think the rest of the world loves us now because he has apologized for saving Europe from Hitler and saving the rest of the world from the Japanese empire, He did help some poor terrorists get some housing and cost of living help in Bermuda.

Maybe he really needs to apologize to America for the past 10 months of the largest deficit in the history of America, the highest unemployment in thirty years, the most corrupt financial system and congress that we have ever had and not one significant accomplishment in 10 monthe in office.

Seems like it would have been cheaper and simpler just to wait as long as necessary for the economy to get back on track and blame bush as long as needed. Forget about taxing my health care and just put everyone on welfare and medicaid (cost about the same as "stimulus" bill but would go to the poor instead of wall street), Since he replaced the Generals in Iraq and Afghanistan , it makes it hard to blame bush for the wars but at least bush started it and everyone knows it is much harder to surrender or lose a war than it is to start one.

Nobel prize in economics? Why not George Foreman, those cooking things have been selling like crazy and he didn't go to Harvard. Wow.

Sounded pretty "right on", here's another "Guess who said it":

This is a fun quiz. Listed below are 10 direct quotes. You have to guess which American politician said it. Your four choices are:

Former Alaska Governor SarahPalin
Former VP Dan Quayle
President BarackObama
Former President George W. Bush

Ready? Here we go!

Who said it?

1) "Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel "

A. BarackObama
B. Dan Quayle
C. SarahPalin
D. George W. Bush

2) "I've now been in 57 states I think one left to go."

A. BarackObama
B. Dan Quayle
C. SarahPalin
D. George W. Bush

3) "On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, and I see many of them in the audience here today.

A. BarackObama
B. Dan Quayle
C. SarahPalin
D. George W. Bush

4) "What they'll say is, 'Well it costs too much money,' you know what? It would cost, about. It it would cost about the same as what we would spend. It. Over the course of 10 years it would cost what it would cost us. (nervous laugh)
All right. Okay.
We're going to do it. It would cost us about the same as it would cost for about hold on one second. I can't hear myself. But I'm glad you're fired up, though. I'm glad."

A. BarackObama
B. Dan Quayle
C. SarahPalin
D. George W. Bush

5) "The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system."

A. Barack Obama
B. Dan Quayle
C. Sarah Palin
D. George W. Bush

(6) "I bowled a 129. It's like - it was like the Special Olympics, or something."

A. Barack Obama
B. Dan Quayle
C. Sarah Palin
D. George W. Bush

7) "Of the many responsibilities granted to a president by our Constitution, few are more serious or more consequential than selecting a Supreme Court
justice. The members of our highest court are granted life tenure, often
serving long after the presidents who appointed them. And they are charged with the vital task of applying principles put to paper more than 20 centuries
ago to some of the most difficult questions of our time."

A. Barack Obama
B. Dan Quayle
C. Sarah Palin
D. George W. Bush

8) "Everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma; they end up taking up a hospital bed, it costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early and they got some treatment, and a breathalyzer, or inhalator, not a breathalyzer. I haven't had much sleep in the last 48 hours.

A. Barack Obama
B. Dan Quayle
C. Sarah Palin
D. George W. Bush

9) "It was interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of I don't know what the term is in Austrian, wheeling and dealing."

A. Barack Obama
B. Dan Quayle
C. Sarah Palin
D. George W. Bush

10) "I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future."

A. BarackObama
B. Dan Quayle
C. SarahPalin
D. George W. Bush

This was a trick quiz. All of the correct answers are the same person. Each of these quotes are directly from President Barack Obama. And now you know why he brings his teleprompter with him everywhere he goes ...even when talking to a 6th grade class.

And some members of the media continue to insist he is "The smartest man ever elected to the Presidency".

Just for future reference (and give credit where it is due)I did not make up the quiz, someone sent it to me.

None of those are on the same planet with Volumes I, II, and III of Bushisms. Not even close.

But I opened this thread to let people see what you said about Obama's presidency @10 months and compare to the reality of today.

I don't think the wrongness of your position can be overstated.

Still blaming Bush...

Even then if there are still no Jobs, we still plenty of Van Jones and Jeremiah Wrights and Tim Geitners to get advice from, surely a Columbia and Harvard educated, nobel laureate, messiah could fix it very fast considering the wisdom and experience he brings to the office. Still no jobs, no healthcare for most , none for the unemployed which had an unemployment rate for our country in 2008 (end of bush) of 5.8% in 2010 the employment rate was 9.6%

Obama Still Blaming Bush
Contentions Obama Still Blaming Bush for Economy

http://www.commentarymagazine....-bush-blame-economy/

I just don't get it, he said he knew how to fix the economy said he would get out of Iraq and they would be a nation of love and peace immediately (well?) said Afghanistan would be where he would stop terrorism in it's tracks , said he knew how to make health care available to everyone (free to most)and not raise taxes one thin dime on anyone making less than $250,000 annually, (LOL),
ROTFL!!!

was going to stop unemployment in it's tracks at less than 8% (oops)and was miraculously save the planet from global warming by burning coal (trying not to laugh) all the while working with Republicans as brothers and sisters in a congress built on love instead of politics.

Table A. Seasonally adjusted unemployment rates in 2011 and changes
due to revision, January - November 2011

Month As first As Change
computed revised

January ............... 9.0 9.1 0.1
February .............. 8.9 9.0 .1
March ................. 8.8 8.9 .1
April ................. 9.0 9.0 .0
May ................... 9.1 9.0 -.1
June .................. 9.2 9.1 -.1
July .................. 9.1 9.1 .0
August ................ 9.1 9.1 .0
September ............. 9.1 9.0 -.1
October ............... 9.0 8.9 -.1
November .............. 8.6 8.7 .1

The jobless rates for adult women (7.9 percent), (7.9 percent),
teenagers (23.1 percent), whites (7.5 percent), blacks (15.8 percent), and
Hispanics (11.0 percent) showed little change. The jobless rate for Asians
was 6.8 percent, not seasonally adjusted. (See tables A-1, A-2, and A-3.)

The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) was
little changed at 5.6 million and accounted for 42.5 percent of the unemployed.
(See table A-12.)

The civilian labor force participation rate (64.0 percent) and the employment-
population ratio (58.5 percent) were both unchanged over the month. (See
table A-1.)

Looks like the only change from then to now is Iraq which was more of an evac than an end:

http://prospect.org/article/th...st-war-justification

. One day after the last U.S. troops left Iraq, the nation appears on the brink of reverting to sectarian conflict. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has ordered the arrest of Vice-President Tariq al-Hashemi for allegedly ordering and funding the assassinations of Shiite officials, and asked the parliament to pass a no-confidence vote that would enable him to dismiss Deputy Prime Minister Saleh al-Mutlak. Both Hashemi and Mutlak are Sunni politicians aligned with the Iraquiya coalition, which is largely made of Sunnis and such secular Shiites as the coalition’s leader, Ayad Allawi. Maliki’s Dawa Party and its allies (including the backers of Moktada al-Sadr) consist largely of more religious Shiites.

GITMO???

But hey, at least we are emitting less carbon because factories are shutting down and no one can afford to drive anywhere.
Recent studies indicate that he may have used his superpowers to save the planer because the planet seems to be getting colder instead of hotter (even with out cap and trade but we still need to tax more right?).

Forecaster GasBuddy's Annual Gasoline Price Outlook predicts prices of $4.25 per gallon for regular unleaded gas by Memorial Day. Bethany Gibson drives around 30 miles each way daily from her Decatur home to her job in Vinings.

still think the ridiculous idea above would be as good as what was done and way cheaper

Poverty rate rises, #s of uninsured rise as well

Obamacare reforms phase in starting 2010 to 2017.

An economy that was destroyed by a decade's worth of bad decisions suddenly became Obama's fault when he was 10 months into his presidency.

Somebody paid SOT/TL to analyze data and make decisions? he is terrible at it
