Those pesky artists are at it again. It is just dreadful.

The Innocence Project Artists’ Committee is a group of writers, directors, actors, visual artists and musicians who support the Innocence Project and are helping raise awareness about wrongful convictions.

Members of the Artists’ Committee lend their talent and voice to the Innocence Project’s vital work in a variety of ways. They help raise awareness and money to free innocent prisoners, they speak out about the need to prevent wrongful convictions, and they integrate these issues into their art. A wide range of artists have long been drawn to the Innocence Project because of the profound impact the organization has in its litigation and policy reform work and because they know first-hand the power of art and entertainment to raise awareness and engage more of the public in these issues.

Following are the members of the Innocence Project Artists’ Committee:

Joan Baez
Bob Balaban
Paris Barclay
Blue Man Group
Amy Brenneman
James Bundy
Stephen Colbert
Judy Collins
Zooey Deschanel

Folks, you really need to look at both sides of the foriegn policy issue.

Look at the names of the companies/groups: Big Business, Wall Street, Oil, and International Banks.

Same groups today, working on a global scale.

As for the people of Cuba, it's still the rich vs. the poor. Castro and family are rich. Castro is a billionaire. The people he is holding captive,... poor. They may get food and medical attention somewhat, but so do pet birds in cages, or dogs in kennels.

So there we have it,...the two choices humans have today. Life under the International Banksters and Globalist Corporations, or life under tolalitarian dictators and their ruling party elites, that live like little emperors and throw regular scraps to their captive populations.

Not much of a choice, to me...

Where did you go? The travel restrictions to Cuba have been eased, there are several American companies taking American tourists there now. I'd like to go on a birding trip there, the island is supposed to have an incredible biodiversity.

podunk, I emailed you

That was funny and sad too. Can you imagine Mitt The Dog Abuser in a high level meeting with Israel and Palestine(isn't that the same place?)

Maybe he should hire Sarah Palin to coach him in his geography?

Apparently his Mormon faith is really really really a problem for many conservatives.

I must say I don't care for the Mormon ideology, I think it's very anti-woman, and when I visited Salt Lake City I thought the religion was more like a cult.

Maybe they think the same of Southern Baptists, and I would prolly agree with them there, too, but at least the Southern Baptists don't have the weird sacred underwear. Don't get me started, I don't care if it's sacred to them, it's weird. Sacred underwear.
