"America's Craziest Politicians", maybe?
Gotta admit, yer state takes the cake.
In the last year there was Inofhe and his climate change denial, there was Fallin doin' all kinds of weirdness, there was that guy calling for a state militia to fight the feds, and now some guy named Mike Shorty? (did I get that right) wanting to ban aborted fetuses from being put in food.
Good lord, that really does make Georgia's crazy politicians pale in comparison.

Me too. Reading Celtic, SOT, and JB makes me fear for the future of the human race, they are so lacking in rationality or humanity. And even though Celtic doesn't vote, I guess she represents the "thinking" of most of OK voters.

He sponsored a measure last year to crack down on illegal immigrants by authorizing law enforcement to seize their homes and vehicles, and to deny Oklahoma citizenship to babies born to illegal immigrants. He also offered an amendment to a bill that would have allowed legislators to carry firearms anywhere in the state, including the floor of the House and Senate.
The underlying reason for this weirdness is to slip in a ban on stem cell research. The medium for research would be edible, therefore, verboten. The thinking is that the public will be so repulsed by the possibility of cannibalism that they will approve this measure.
