Sunday Morning, October 11, 2009.

The feeling of the seasons changing were upon us a we came out of our beds and headed to the kitchen for something warm to drink. Stretching ourselves as our pets do each morn. Giving a little time just to look out side to see if any changes had come during the night, and what was really going on with Mother Nature.

Spiritual desires came in to play in my head at that time. I thought about the physical world we live in and I knew I needed to be quiet for a moment an to allow myself to start to follow the trend that Nature was showing me at this very instant....I then headed to my office, I have in my home, closing the door from the sounds going on in the other part of the house, lit incense and just sat down at my desk. I really didn't think too much about anything, I just chose to Allow my self to do nothing. This "nothing time" of mine always reminds me of the song, that a line goes like this..

"LET Rest of the World go Bye."

<> Let go Let God <>

I enter our new sunroom through beautiful french doors, sit in my favorite recliner, pull my wool blanket up over my head, and let time pass while I dream away. It's good to be retired- all days are like an extended summer vacation. Hope it's this way for you...

Hope you reach it soon Donovan- I most highly recommend it. Wonderful to finally have time to watch the leaves turn and fall, never have to drive in winter weather again, always shop at odd times when there are more clerks than customers in the store, gettin' a senior citizen discount, never fighting the crowds, basically having time to watch paint dry. Oh, did I mention never dreading Sunday night again because the next day is Monday and you're right back in the race, time for family and a hobby too, read a book, garden and travel if you wish. Oh my, I'm starting to ramble, but I think you see my point. It's simply delicious!!!

Oh yes, I love to read. Books from the library, Ebay and Amazon. Have them hid all over the place. Think my wife is on to me- again!

Rainy weather makes me think of a book and then a nap, but not always in that order! Big Grin
