I saw all that stuff quite awhile back and asked ANC about it. Didn't hear from him, but Mankind advised to not click on them. They are probably a virus waiting to happen.

Do you ever hear from ANC? I miss him.

Remember Hogzilla?

Are there wild boars in Oklahoma?

ANC posted today at the one you left, but never posts on his own anymore. They reposted the rules over there yesterday too, imagine that. I don't remember seeing WMW posted there today, although I saw he was there.

Yes there are wild boars in Oklahoma or hogs if you will and people hunt them. They do a lot of damage. I remember Hogzilla as well. Double post alert. Eeker

LOL

Sometimes I post 4-5 times in a row, and I just don't care! LOLOL

Tell ANC I miss him. When I first "met" him I thought he was a woman! He never corrected me, went on for weeks, someone else corrected me. I thought that was cool because you know a lot of men are uptight if someone thinks they are a woman in cyberland. Cool

Oh yeah, that person over there with the rules is weird, he posted six pages of them after I wrote "why is this thing all jiggly?"

LOLOL

The screen was shaking and "why is this thing all jiggly?" was a TOS violation? Because it was a "criticism of his forum."

I had to lay down and laugh.

I think he's got serious anal retentive issues.

Believe me, they get VERY hot under the collar. Ask no questions. Why do you think I was gone for so long?

Did they moderate you or did you just stay away? I told them to delete my account, I think the dude is off his rocker.

The only way I could even ask to have the account deleted was to make a post about it, they have disabled their email addy, they have disabled the Help forum, they don't have a physical address with a phone number, they don't have Personal Messaging anymore...

I got about ten pages of Rules sent to me, in the beginning there were about 10 rules on one page modeled on normal TOS now it's like 10 pages and keeps growing, the dude (if there is a dude, I think it's a computer program or something like a robot) has a rule that says we are supposed to read all the Rules EVERY SINGLE TIME WE LOG IN

Obsess much?

LOLOL

First I was moderated (mentioned wiggly-thing) and then posts never appeared, for months. It started last October.

I guess I am OK now - posts are appearing again.

Holy schmoly...Well Mr. T you are a forgiving person because I won't go back, I think moderation for "why is this thing jiggly?" is INSANE. And the other issues started ratcheting up.

Were you there when we could use PM? Then one day *Poof* no PM. Rules appeared "Do not ask questions about Rules or Moderation." But no way to ask a question. Just "Do not Ask Questions".

One week the forum would be open and we could read it without logging in, then the next 2-3 weeks it would be closed off and private and only registered members could log in to read it. I started getting the heebie jeebies, what kind of weirdo HIDES their own forum and then posts "Invite your friends to join us?"

Were you ever able to email anyone? Or click on a communication box for Help?

And what's up with the "Hello" threads, there are 100 posts a day from one poster. "Hello Norman". 24 hours later "Hello Norman". 24 hours later "Hello Norman".

Is it a computerized program? Is it a real person with so little to offer that they click-- open-- post-- "Hello City" over 100 times a day and then get up the next day and do it again? Needless to say I would click on a "Norman" thread and there would be 30 posts in a row spanning 30 days from that one guy "Hello Norman". I'm looking at it like "this is some freaky deaky weirdo you-know-what." I started wondering if I'd checked into the Bates Motel.

Now I'm imagining all sorts of weird things like did the geeky owner set this up so he could toy with people and mess with their heads?

Cuz that is some insane weirdness getting moderated for "Why is this thing all jiggly?"

Everything you say is true. It is the strangest "forum" I have ever seen. We don't have any other way to stay in touch as a group or to comment on Norman things, so it is better than nothing.

Someone tried to give me a free Norman Transcript today - I refused politely but it wasn't easy.

What is a Norman Transcript and why didn't you want to accept it?

I went there with the Ada folks for the same reasons, we all were trying to stay together. I really really like the Ada group, but some of my favorites have been awol long before I left that place, and I'm wondering if they got tired of the weirdness factor from the owner as I have.

Could you and Rainbowhead make a Norman section here in The Park? I don't think there's really any requirement in The Park as to what topics are allowed or not allowed, so wouldn't that be all right?

Could yall make your own forum? Tammy could probably tell you how to set one up.

The Norman Transcript used to be a most excellent newspaper.

what? I'm chopped liver?

That other place is weird. I was totally censored one night. One of our other regs was there and he saw it too. I try to not make comments about the place ~ just our news and local stuff, etc.

So, I just use it to keep up with Mr. T and Taxi and some of the others. I had a place, but it died. I miss our old place...
